If the Shoe Fits: TKEES

One thing that relieves my stress is a trip to the nail spa and it's usually after these moments that I find myself slipping on my favorite comfy thong sandals. I had a braided brown one which I got from forever21 but I recently had to give it up as its condition was predicting a "mentos moment" soon...hehehe! Finding a pair that would replace one that you love so much is quite a search but thanks to OOTDs. I spotted Kelly Misa wearing a flat thong sandals in a brownish shade and quickly read the credits...TKEES (read as t-keys) it is!!!

TKEES were created out of a desire to walk around barefoot. These sandals are easy slip-ons that still allow you to be in tuned with your sophisticated self. It comes in various colors and finish. So, If I were to shop TKEES...

Foundations
Beach Bum

Cocobutter

  • French Tips
Ivory Sand

  • Pop Colors
Iris Plum

  • Tonals
Black Crow

TKEES are available at THE FLAT SHOP (Greenhills and Eastwood). I'm grabbing a pair soon. Which should I pick first?...hmmmm....

More from Pompyang!

Just like every game, you can’t just get enough of what Pompyang has to offer. The Necktees is now a staple piece in every fashionista’s closet. Started as an upcycled t-shirt necklace, the Necktees has now evolved into cloth necklaces in classic, funky and quirky colors and prints. The fashion piece is now available at Bratpack Greenbelt 5.

NeckTees

I’m one who loves basics so much – white round-neck shirts are my go-to’s. They’re either pulled from my own closet or sneaked from my brother’s...hehehe! If dad had a smaller size, I guess his would be stolen as well. I’m in love with these pieces because they give me so much room for styling without being over the top (no offense, but putting on too much is just not my style!). It transforms what seems to be an ordinary everyday wear to something fashionable.

The transformation all lies in how you accessorize your basic piece. I’m known to be a necklace lover. It’s always the “pasabog” in what I wear. Aside from necklaces, I also go gaga over scarves.  But I am quite sure that this “pasabog” fashion idea did not originate from this blogger. I guess several fashionable men and women, teens and toddlers (hehehe!) embrace the same principle of accessorizing to transform the ordinary into something special. But lucky me, this blogger had the first chance to style a basic piece and transform it into something extraordinary with my new adventuruistangfashionista find....THE NECKTEES!

NeckTees are quirky, fun, upcycled T-shirt necklaces handmade by pompyang. Check out the different colors and styles they have. You'll find one or even more than one that could transform your ordinary Tee into something extraordinary!

Catch them at the FUTURE MARKET ESCOLTA once a month. I'll update as to when the next market day will be. See you there!

If I Were to Shop...Miss Selfridge: Skirts

It's been a while since I last created an entry to this blog. Work has just been robbing me of my time for adventures - not that this adventure time is a fixed, consistent moment I give myself. Although I wish I could, work just does not permit me to...not for now. I usually go out for an adventure when I feel that i'm running out of sanity...hehehe! To keep my sanity intact, I decided to go on an adventure. My adventure always has something to do with finding fashionable pieces that would spice up one's everyday style. I raided Miss Selfridge's closet and here are my finds...

SKIRTS

Paisley Embossed Skater Skirt

Textured Mini Skirt in Coral

Textured Tube Skirt in Coral

Stripe Textured Tube Skirt

Petites Geo Zip Mini Skirt

Geo Midi Tube Skirt

I shall style these pieces soon (Hoping that work permits me to...)
