School and All That Goes with It

I never created a post about fashion school, or should I say short course on fashion styling, to be more specific. At first i was excited to write about it but then got overwhelmed with everything that came with it. It just so happened that I engaged into this new adventure the same time I started work. Talk about "too much".

Well, first day of school was just like all other first days - exciting! I came in wearing a mini graphic skirt paired with a 3/4 sleeved boat-neck top and ballet flats. I was aware it was fashion school but for me it was still school, wear something comfy. It was a typical first day - the theme - getting to know you. hahaha! well, it wasn't that bad, but I guess, I couldn't say it was great. Lesson 1 - "love everything about it", that's what my teacher said - implying that being in that industry brings a lot of perks and a lot more - stress, criticism and insecurities. It comes with the package! Talk about too much to love!

The next few days were all about photo shoots, one after the other - beauty, commercial, menswear, couture. Here are some of the photos I took during the shoot. never got copies from the photographers we worked with. hmmm....

Adventurista Thoughts: "RYUJI"

I had to check. I always check. What is there to check? Nothing has changed since my last visit. But there was just something about dropping by the site every now and then. I wanted to know something, but don't really know what that something is. So after clicking the icon that read courses and reading the schedule page (which I should have memorized by now), I decided to go beyond the site and pick up the phone and ask. But wait! What is there to ask? After dialing 352-35-14, I popped a question, actually I asked 2 questions but the latter didn't matter. Her answer was "Ryuji". I guess I'm done checking their site. I now know what I wanted to find out. It makes me even more excited. "RYUJI", it was all I needed to know.
