Almost every turn I make leads me to a shopping mall. Without even seeing the big signage that spells S-M or the flashing big letter R, the heavy traffic just tells me I'm nearing one. Gone where the days when specific places in the metro were popularly known for shopping. Cubao was just one of those places. My mom and I would travel all the way to Araneta Center just to get my birthday or Christmas dress at Rustan's.

Photo: www.travelwebshots.com It was a "prim and proper" place for shopping very much similar to the dresses I wore for Christmas. After shopping for dainty dresses and having several brain freezing sips at Mango Brutus, my mom and I would make several steps across . I was welcomed to a whole new different world. Never did I know that 20 years later, I would fall in love with this place.
Photo: www.tripadvisor.comIt used to be called Marikina Shoe Expo - a well known shopping place for all kinds of shoes. The place has evolved ever since, changing it's name to Cubao Expo - where you can shop art. So, why don't you give yourself a new shopping experience? Spend your bucks at Cubao Expo's 2010 1-Day Holiday Twist Bazaar and reminisce old shopping days you had with mom!!!
