Salons and designers are packed with clients. Well, it's prom season in high schools and last Monday the buzz was on the prom of the celebrities - THE OSCARS. More than wanting to know who brought home the gold sculpted trophy, I definitely wanted to know who was wearing who and who bagged the most stylish award.

All eyes were on the lead of the Black Swan, who donned a Rodarte on the red carpet. Absolutely stunning!

I can just imagine Rachel Zoe freaking out on the thought of Anne Hathaway hosting the Oscars. The pressure was on her and her team - a "to die" kind of pressure that makes her go "bananas". The Armani Prive gown Anne wore to the Goolden Globes was perfect and so was this red Valentino Haute Couture piece. Lovely!

Who ever said that exposing much skin is the only way to show off one's sexiness? Scarlett Johansson in Dolce and Gabbana and Amy Adams in L'Wren Scott proved them wrong.

Have always been a Gucci fan but seeing Hilary Swank on the red carpet wearing a Gucci Premiere strapless gown brought my fanaticism to a different level.

If only the Oscars had gone before your prom then I guess you would be running (in gold peep toe pumps) to your designer, begging him to create a piece like that of Hailee Steinfeld. A Marchesa gown would always give you that class and sophistication, worthy of being prom queen!

I have always been drawn to anything vintage or vintage-y. This Valentino Haute Couture piece worn by Florence Welch just made me go WOW! Love it's conservative take - slipping on sleeves in a textured lace-y fabric. The tiered bottom just adds that dramatic vintage-y feel.
