Waist up

I've been loving most of my finds lately, to be more specific, the high waisted trousers in black, light gray and butterscotch I got from a thrift shop somewhere in the Metro. Been wearing it with fitted tops and sometimes cinching my waist, not with a slim belt, but with one of my favorite fashion pieces - a scarf. I have been drawn to the trend lately but wanted variety - finding or should I say, altering skirts and shorts, transforming them into something that says "WAIST UP".

BASICally

There are times you just want to stick to the basics. Nothing wrong with that! But there are some who have vowed to wear the basics all their life, to play it safe, i guess. But one fashionista turning into the basics does not mean she has joined the fashion play-it-safers. She just wants to go the minimalist direction... but of course with a few twists and turns
This asymmetrical shirt dress just stirs the look of the classic white button-down shirt to a different direction.
The fringes bring the crisp white shirt to a whole new level....It's flapper-girlish

Wrinkled

As we transition from the cold days of Winter into the scorching heat of Summer, we say hello to Spring. From layered clothing in dark palettes, we strip of some fabric and embrace colors in all hues. Lanvin designer embraced colors in taupe, acid yellow, hot pink and aqua for his Spring 2011 collection.

The collection spoke of the designer's love for wrinkles, his take on the skin thing that most women obsess about. The pieces showcased the beauty of wrinkles on a woman's body!

I wouldn't mind having wrinkles for as long as it's Lanvin made!!!

Pointes on the Runway

Mirrored walls and wooden floors - the space that surrounds every girl in leotards and tights. But this Spring, Chloe brings the dance studio into the fashion runway as she takes inspiration from dancer outfits, adding style and class to the everyday leotards and sheer skirts.



The Chloe girl is but ready to do her grand jetes and pirouettes in style.

All Things New!

A New Year ahead and what better way to embrace it than with cards and coins in our hands. We were all but ready to yell BINGO! It's a family tradition that happens every New Year's Day. This year we had BONGGA cards!

We started an "arte" tradition.
Next year, I wanna wear a Mich Dulce hat!!! I wanna, I wanna, I wanna!!!
